Be A Data Superhero! Collecting, Connecting & Sharing Library Data for the Win!

Using Library Data To Tell Your Story with LIBRARY GIRL, Jennifer LaGarde -- Collecting, analyzing and sharing data that shows how your work makes a real difference for students isn’t just about proving your worth in bad budget years, when library programs are in the most peril. Making the connection between what you do and outcomes for kids is a best practice EVERY YEAR, because doing so helps us stay at the top of our game and know, without a doubt, that what we do matters. In this interactive session, we’ll explore a huge variety of ways that school librarians are tackling this important work and we’ll start making a plan for collecting, analyzing and sharing our own data with the stakeholders who matter most. Note: Participants need to bring a digital device with which they can access and edit shared Google Docs.
