Evidence Based Strategies for the Education of Students with Down Syndrome

Training developed by the Statewide Low Incidence Network to help educate and support staff working with students who have down syndrome. The training will: summarize common characteristics of students with Down Syndrome and how those characteristics may affect learning, review least restrictive environment and inclusionary practices, and identify strategies for teaching academic, functional and behavioral skills.

Parents, General Education Teachers, and all SPED personnel working with students with Down Syndrome.
