Living In A Mobile World: The Importance of Self-Advocacy Skills

Migrant students are among the most mobile students in our schools. On average, migrant students will move more than 3 times in a six-year period impacting their academic advancement. Participants will learn how to provide them with self-advocacy skills, a tool necessary to deal with the impact of their ever-changing school environments.
