Empowering Effective Educators Content Training (United Day School Only)

The contribution of teachers to student learning and outcomes is widely recognized. A teacher's effectiveness has more impact on student learning than any other factor under the control of school systems. The purpose of this mini conference is to empower effective educators to explore and apply research-based strategies and hands-on activities in the areas of social studies (e.g., U.S. Citizenship/Government), mathematics (e.g., Algebraic Learning), Writing Across the Curriculum, and Hands-On Science to promote student engagement and student learning.
