SLD Identification Series day 5: Best Practices for Identifying Dyslexia in the FIE presented by Kara Zwolinski

Participants will understand the dyslexia identification process by exploring the definitions and characteristics of dyslexia and specific learning disability in reading. Participants will examine achievement, cognitive processes, and additional areas associated with dyslexia and specific learning disability. Through a case study, participants will analyze a student’s pattern of strengths and weaknesses as part of the evaluation process to differentiate between dyslexia and specific learning disability in reading.
