Region One 2019 Autism Conference

The theme of this conference will be Transition: To Self and Safety. In the morning session, participants will go through a "guided tour" of positive youth development for students with Autism and Asperger Syndrome, to help enable students to work together to discover the answers to the important information that drives transition planning and leads to authentic and meaningful plans. In the afternoon session, teachers, parents, therapists and other educational professionals will be given effective tools to teach safe behaviors directly and explicitly to teens and adults with disabilities. This presentation is also ideal for school resource officers and school police.

General education and Special education teachers, parents of students with Autism/Asperger Syndrome, administrators, counselors, school resource officers and school police, para's, mental health personnel.
