How to Better Serve Our EL Students Through Authentic Literacy
This one-day training is designed to engage teachers in the Authentic Literacy experience. Participants will learn how to frame a lesson: using close reading strategies, discussion of text, writing about the text, teaching vocabulary, establishing a purpose for reading, modeling higher-order reading.
