Classwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports: What Every Teacher Should be Doing in the Classroom!

This training will cover the foundations of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), basic behavior principles, and five evidence-based practices. Participants will learn how to maximizing structure in the classroom, establishing and teaching expectations, encourage students to follow these expectations, implement strategies to decrease inappropriate behavior, collect data to make decisions about behavior supports in the classroom, and differentiate levels of behavioral support as needed. If your campus is implementing schoolwide PBIS, this training is designed to support you in the classroom. CWPBIS is an essential element for implementing PBIS schoolwide. This training is based on the book , "Classwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports: A Guide to Proactive Classroom Management" by Simonsen and Meyers.

All levels - General education teachers, special education teachers, counselors, behavior strategists.
