The Education Service Center, Region 2 is pleased to announce the 2024 Summer Conference for School Nutrition Programs to be held at the ESC 2 on July 16th through 18th, 2024. This year’s conference will feature robust opportunities for participants to gain experience in a variety of areas that provide professional development credit hours to help school nutrition employees meet the training hours needed as outlined in the Professional Standards for School Nutrition Program regulations.


Due to varying times required for some classes, it will be important for participants to assure they are registered for the following:

This course is designed to give the school nutrition program director information to enable them to recognize sound financial principles and concepts as the primary foundation for school nutrition programs. Directors must make difficult decision about long-term goals to ensure the sustainability of the programs. At the same time, demands are increasing for improved financial and nutritional accountability. School districts need financial management information systems that provide data for both evaluation and financial decision-making.
