Evidence Based Practices for Behavior

In this engaging session, participants will delve into effective strategies for navigating Evidence-Based Practices in Behavior. Drawing from the rich resources of the Texas SPED support network, TEA learn, NPDC, and other relevant sources, attendees will gain invaluable insights into addressing challenging behaviors and fostering connections with individuals that have challenging behavior.

Throughout the workshop, participants will acquire practical tools and techniques to enhance their teaching approaches for individuals with diverse behavioral needs. The session will feature interactive elements such as make-and-take activities, role-playing scenarios, and facilitated discussions aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of how to create supportive learning environments.

By the end of this workshop series, attendees will emerge with a newfound confidence in their ability to effectively teach and connect with individuals with Autism, armed with a comprehensive toolkit of evidence-based strategies. Join us for an enriching learning experience that promises to empower educators and support professionals alike in their journey toward inclusive and impactful teaching practices. Fee will be $50 for COOP and $100 for non-COOP.
