Evidence Based Practices with Autism

When I began teaching over 23 years ago, the statistic for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) was 1 in 10,000; today, it is 1 in 36. Times have changed, and understanding and supporting individuals on the spectrum is more important than ever. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to connect with and appreciate the abilities and intricacies involved in educating students with ASD.

Drawing from my extensive experience working with this population across various grade levels, I will share effective strategies that have led to successful outcomes. This training is suitable for all grade levels and will benefit both general education and special education teachers alike.

Join me as we explore new strategies and inroads to success with students on the spectrum. Come ready to learn, engage, and be inspired by someone who is passionate about this incredible student group!

Fee is $100 for Non-COOP and $50 for COOP. 8:30-3:30 pm.
