From Identification to Intervention: Supporting Students with a Math LD or Dyscalculia

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This comprehensive professional development, provided by Dr. Anneke Schreuder, addresses the critical need for effective identification, assessment, and intervention strategies for students with a math learning disability (Math LD) and dyscalculia. After covering history and research about low math achievement, classroom observations, early screening, and identification, substantial time will be focused on connecting evaluation results with evidence-based instructional approaches, interventions, and supports that practitioners can implement immediately in their schools.

Dr. Anneke Schreuder is a Dutch pediatrician and neonatologist with a particular interest in the field of developmental epidemiology and the relationship with education. She serves as co-chair of the Professional Advisory Board of the LDA and the board of the Texas chapter, is a frequent speaker on Dyscalculia, is a consultant to various schools, and has developed a series of online courses to train Dyscalculia tutors.
