All school staff play a critical role in emergency preparedness. ESC-Region 2 is hosting a NIMS 100/200 Certification Workshop specifically for Safety Directors and District Personnel. NIMS provides a standardized framework for effective emergency response coordination. Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the emergency management team is essential to maintaining safety during a crisis.

This training is designed to align district personnel with local emergency services and ensure consistent, efficient responses. The flyer includes key training requirements for administrators, educators, and support staff to help them stay prepared and in compliance with safety standards.

The cost of this workshop is $100 and includes a training booklet. Participants will need a laptop/electronic device to complete the certification test at the end of the day.
