Restorative Practices - Tier 2 Training for Facilitators (VIRTUAL)

Through interactive discussions and role play activities, the course will cover essential topics such as repairing the harm and how the student behavior affects others. Participants will learn and understand how to facilitate open dialogue in conflicts using guided questions, the educator/Restorative Practitioner/ Restorative Coordinator role in assisting individuals repair harm and rebuild relationships, and how to guide individuals in accepting responsibility for their actions. PRE-WORK IS REQUIRED BEFORE THE SESSION.

Objectives:
To provide participants with the basic foundational skills and knowledge of implementing a Tier 2 circle, which is a circle that repairs the harm.
- Participants will learn to facilitate open dialogue in conflicts using guided questions.
- Participants will understand the coordinator's role in helping individuals repair harm and rebuild relationships.
- Participants will learn how to guide individuals in accepting responsibility for their actions.
