Head Start/EHS CPR/First Aid/AED

This course will certify and re-certify HS/EHS staff, teachers, and teaching assistants in CPR, First Aid, and AED. The training teaches rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant.

1. Learners will gain ability to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant.
2. Ability assessed by demonstration of skills.

This training is for Region 7 ESC employees and Head Start/Early Head Start teaching staff ONLY.

This is an online course. Once your registration has been received, you will be emailed an e-key that enables you to take the course online. A skills check will be performed by our Head Start Health staff, either in person or via ZOOM. American Heart Association is calling it a "Blended Training".
