Sheltered Instruction Overview

Sheltered Instruction is a research-based model that has proven effective in addressing the academic needs of English learners, which benefits all students. Using the Sheltered Instruction model, teachers design and implement lessons that attend to the academic and language development needs of their students. This overview will provide participants with a working knowledge and strategies to begin implementing Sheltered Instruction at their campus.
