Aligning the IEPs to the TEKS 20-21

IDEA requires that alternate achievement standards be linked vertically to grade-level academic content using prerequisite skills to promote access to the general curriculum for students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities. Participants will learn strategies to adapt grade-level Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for students with moderate and severe disabilities-resulting in legal, attainable, and meaningful student goals.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
