Pre-K Guidelines: Emergent Writing

Complete Attendance

Pre-K students come to us with varying exposure to print. How do we provide purposeful, planned, and playful opportunities to explore the connection between speaking and writing and hypothesize about how to write. How do we balance our lessons to nurture a desire to write and foster growth toward our end of the year outcomes? During this course, we will explore the Emergent Writing domain. Afterward, we will collaborate and support one another in the development of high-quality lessons and/or learning activities. Finally, each of you will participate in a virtual coaching cycle.
