A SPED Perspective on Dyslexia Evaluation, Identification, & Remediation 20-21

In this session, we will examine The Dyslexia Handbook guidance on evaluation, identification, and remediation pertaining to special education. Participants will examine case studies, compare evaluation instruments, and delve into the science of reading. Information and activities provided will meet the specific needs of dyslexia evaluators, including diagnosticians, LSSPs, and SLPs. Workshop materials will be made available electronically. For personal notetaking, participants may want to bring an electronic device and a printed copy of the Dyslexia Handbook (available at tea.texas.gov/academics/dyslexia). Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email. TSHA credit pending.
