Workshop Registration Details

This internationally acclaimed training of trainers is an intensive three-day workshop presented by authorized Crisis Prevention Institute staff. Participants become certified to train their district staff in crisis prevention, de-escalation strategies, and disengagement and holding skills. This training meets set criteria in the Commissioner's Rules regarding the use of restraint, seclusion, and time-out for special education students.

This TOT is designed for participants that are new CPI trainers. All participants are required to complete the appropriate number of days (3) of the training to receive either new or returning certification. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe (athletic) shoes. Each participant will receive a copy of CPI's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention TOT workbook and supplemental materials. Please note: This is a blended training with both online and classroom learning. All Instructor Candidates are required to review the principles, concepts and models of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® by completing online modules of the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Blended Learning program. After completion, attend required classroom training to apply and review online content and to learn, practice, and prepare, then take a written post-test to become a Certified Instructor.

If this workshop has fewer than 10 participants total, this session will be canceled.

The fee for registration per person is $3999.00. Payment will be made to Region 7 ESC. Registration and payment must be received by 10/26/2021.
