Region 7 Literacy Summit for Upper Elementary Educators

Region 7 is pleased to host a virtual Science of Teaching Reading session designed specifically for upper elementary teachers. Lynn Kuhn, a national literacy expert, will build our understanding of the advanced phonemic, phonetic, and morphological requirements of our RLA TEKS. We will explore instructional strategies that fill learning gaps, deepen student understanding, enhance academic vocabulary, and produce skilled readers and writers.
