A SPED Perspective on Dyslexia Evaluation, Identification, & Remediation 21-22

In this session, we will examine The Dyslexia Handbook guidance on evaluation, identification, and remediation pertaining to special education. Participants will examine case studies, compare evaluation instruments, and delve into the science of reading. Information and activities provided will meet the specific needs of dyslexia evaluators, including diagnosticians, LSSPs, and SLPs.
Workshop materials will be made available electronically. For personal notetaking, participants may want to use an electronic device and a printed copy of the Dyslexia Handbook (available at tea.texas.gov/academics/dyslexia). TSHA credit pending.
