Teacher Mentor Academy

The Region 7 ESC Teacher Mentor Academy is grounded in research-based best practices for adult learning and strategies for building effective mentoring partnerships. Throughout the school year, mentors will engage in a variety of training topics through virtual and face-to-face venues. Trainings include deep dives into the following topics: lesson planning and formative assessment, data-driven instruction, learning environment, coaching cycles, and effective mentoring partnerships.

Participants will be registered for the 7 half-days (virtual) throughout the school year to offer support. These days include September 16, 2021, October 14, 2021, November 11, 2021, January 13, 2022, February 10, 2022, March 24, 2022, and April 28, 2022.
