Art imitates life. The Japanese art of Kintsugi takes broken pieces of pottery and mends them with enamel and gold as a process of healing. As a result of the repairs, the work becomes more valuable in its imperfection. In this course we will learn and practice the process, as we learn to repair pottery and we lead students through SEL (Social Emotional Learning) and resilience in the art room.
