SPPI 11 and SPPI 12 20-21

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) collects data from local education agencies (LEAs) for the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR). SPPI 11, Timely Initial Evaluation (Child Find), requires LEAs to report the percentage of students who were evaluated within state-established timelines. SPPI 12 requires LEAs to submit the percentage of children referred by Part C/ECI prior to age three and found eligible for Part B/LEA Special Education Services, having an IEP developed and implemented by their third birthday. Training will focus on requirements and resources to help LEAs prepare for SPPI 11 and 12 data submissions.
