Organizing and Interpreting the Data to Plan a Targeted Assessment (Intermediate Level) - CSEP 2021-2022

Description

The morning portion of this workshop will highlight the key aspects of the REVIEW steps of C-SEP, including a discussion of considerations for gathering, organizing, and analyzing various sources of data. Participants will complete a hands-on activity pertaining to the REVIEW steps using a case study provided by the presenters. During the afternoon, the presenter will highlight the key aspects of the PLAN step, including how the multiple sources of data can be used to plan a targeted assessment. Additionally, this session will discuss the formulation of a testing hypothesis and a focused referral question (FRQ) to help drive a targeted testing plan. Tools for establishing an FRQ and a targeted testing plan will be introduced. Participants will complete a hands-on activity using the case study from the morning portion of the workshop.
Attendees will be able to participate in the webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided to approved participants in professional development records 1 day prior to the workshop.
