Integrating Visual Art and Language Arts - Grades 3-12

Join artist and art educator Julio Suarez as he leads an interactive workshop exploring visual art techniques in the art of cartooning. You will create original cartoon characters, write, draw one-panel cartoons, and create a comic strip! You will also learn how to communicate ideas by integrating words and pictures. Sketching, drawing, inking, and coloring will be components of this workshop.
