PBL vs. "Doing a Project" Grades 3-5

There are key characteristics that differentiate "doing a project" from engaging in rigorous Project Based Learning. Project-Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge. Time will be given to creating a Problem Based Learning for your students.
