Everything You Learned in Graduate School and Forgot as a Practitioner: Ethical Dilemmas in Assessment 21-22

This session will provide a thought-provoking discussion of ethical issues that school psychologists face and highlight common assessment practices. Through examples and interactive participant discussion, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) ethical principles and their application will come to life. Participants will develop strategies for responding to different scenarios in an ethically appropriate manner and review concepts taught in graduate school such as reliability, validity, as well as sensitivity, and specificity, and why these terms still matter.
