Come and join us as we focus on the meaning-side-of reading, what we have come to call “thinking-intensive reading”. Students need to be thinking whenever they read, listen, or view, and they need to recognize that thinking is what reading is all about. Teachers much teach the students about their thinking-----be aware of their thinking, think strategically, recognize the power of their own thinking.
