Secondary Math: Functions Functions Everywhere - Grades 6-12

Functions are all around us. The question is how do we bring them into the classroom? Utilizing the concrete, pictorial, abstract (CPA) is a highly effective teaching approach that develops a deep and sustainable understanding of concepts that will allow the student to make lasting connections. The session will explore the functions through hands-on tools and experiments using the TI 84 and Nspire. Join us for experimenting, collaborating, and developing connections to increase student understanding and achievement.
