This is a crash-course workshop for new(ish) elementary science teachers or anyone who would like to refresh their understanding of science education. During this session, we will explore multiple resources and strategies designed to increase students’ level of achievement and understanding of science content and process skills. We will explore the specificity of the TEKS, misconceptions that students typically experience, and experience engaging sample investigations for each grade level.
