G/T: Robotics Fall Design Competition Teacher Meeting

Join the Region 7 ESC robotics team to learn about the Robotics Student Seminars for gifted/talented students! The day will be divided into two parts. Participants may choose to attend only the morning meeting or may attend both the morning and afternoon sessions.

The morning will focus on presenting information regarding the upcoming robotics design competition for gifted/talented students in grades 4 - 12. Competition guidelines, including specifications and dates, will be shared then discussed during a Q and A period.

In the afternoon, teachers will have the opportunity to explore the past Region 7 robotics competition mats and spend time programming the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 robots with support from the Region 7 ESC robotics team members. Participants will also connect and collaborate with other robotics coaches from other Region 7 districts.

Please note: G/T credits, either 3 or 6 hours, will be awarded depending on how long the participant attends.
