G/T 6-Hour Update: Attending to the Affect: Addressing the SEL Needs of G/T Learners

Meeting the social and emotional needs of gifted learners can be daunting. This TEA developed session will examine the characteristics and qualities of educational environments that impact social and emotional strengths and needs of gifted learners. Additionally, strategies will be shared that may be used to empower gifted learners to effectively deal with challenges that may be attributed to social and emotional characteristics they possess. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
