G/T and Technology: Whimsical Rigor

Everyone knows technology is great for all learners. Join Andy and Carla to explore ways technology can develop a student's ability to become a self-directed learner and a critical and creative thinker. Discover resources to differentiate your content that addresses the needs of all students... with a focus on your gifted/talented students.

In this blended workshop, participants will complete 2 hours of pre-work in the Canvas Learning Management System between June 1 and June 7 at their convenience. Then they will attend in-person at Region 7 ESC on June 8 for 4 hours for a total of 6 hours. The expectation is that in order to receive a certificate, attendance at the in-person session is required. This workshop satisfies the state requirement of the annual 6 hour gifted/talented update as required for teachers who work with identified gifted students.
