Discovering our purpose as writers can be like finding a diamond in the rough. Further, to really shape up their writing, it must have an intentional structure to convey their meaning. How can we support our students in making choices of why they want to write and how to make their message impactful? In this session, we will examine how to move PAST P.I.E., in regards to author's purpose and explore how intentional organization shapes up our writing to support that purpose.
