G/T: The Independent Investigation Method Research Model (IIM): Grades K - 12

The Independent Investigation Method is a teaching model that guides primary, elementary, and secondary students through the research process using a common framework for students from kindergarten to high school. It employs a continuum of skills that empowers teachers to integrate the research TEKS across the curriculum, thus enabling students to become independent researchers. Moreover, when district teachers use a common model, it ensures that students in grades K - 12 understand and implement research effectively throughout the curriculum. Grades K - 12
