STAAR Redesign Preparation - Kilgore High School

2023 is the first official year for STAAR Redesign. This will bring new item types, new thinking, and new requirements from students, teachers, and districts. Of these, writing is a key in students internalizing learning across all contents. Recent changes in the STAAR Redesign are bringing new attention to this instructional best practice and we are here to help you! Join us as we look at best practices in cross-curricular writing instruction, as well as, instructional strategies to meet the demands of the new STAAR question types. We encourage teachers from these three contents to join us together as we learn and explore in preparation for STAAR Redesign changes.
