Cross Curricular Connections - Kilgore Primary School

Research states that cross-curricular connections are a great way to access students' knowledge bases in order to make learning enduring. The state is using this research to guide decisions for testing in grades 3-12 by incorporating cross-curricular reading passages and writing across the curriculum. Join us in this session as we examine the changes to the STAAR assessment, look at how what that means for primary learning structures, and utilize the C-CAD document from TEKS RS to plan purposely for this learning.
