Clear Input Leads to Masterful Output in Science and Social Studies

Learn how to develop students' content and academic language through comprehensible input and quality opportunities for output. These two components of classroom instruction work to push learning forward and move students from passive participants to active meaning-makers. With the redesign of STAAR, now more than ever, students need to understand academic language, read informational passages, and respond in writing to these passages. This workshop will provide methods, resources, and technology tools that you can immediately incorporate into your lesson planning to increase student understanding. ******This workshop is located in Lufkin (701 N 1st St, Lufkin, TX 75901). Teachers and administrators from other school districts are welcome to attend.
