TEKS RS system offers an amazing opportunity for districts to leverage a system to ensure student success. In this training, we will examine high-impact student expectations vertically to define the areas of focus, skill, and mastery across a span of grades. Additionally, building quality summative and formative assessments are a vital part of the planning process. Participants will examine assessment components within TEKS RS including Performance Assessments, formative items, unit assessment items, and checks for understanding. Each learner will walk away with a variety of resources and skills needed to develop aligned assessments for collecting data around student learning.
