STAAR Redesign: Formative Assessment

How do you know your students can represent learning with new item types? Distinguished teachers use formative assessments to inform teacher planning and instruction, guide student learning, and target interventions that prepare students for success on all levels of STAAR. We will spend time developing meaningful formative assessments and rubrics that will prepare students to show what they know on all STAAR item types in science and social studies.
