Title I, Part A has its own version of “Lions, Tigers, and Bears” in the form of Provisions, Assurances, and Audits. Oh My! Once funds are accepted, districts are responsible for meeting all requirements, so let’s spend some time digging into the “fine print” for this program. We will provide attendees with checklists to help ensure that all requirements are met. We will also talk about that other dreaded word: audits! We will provide tips and tricks to assist LEAs in making sure that they do not get caught by one of these Title I monsters!
