MTSS-How's Our System Working? for LEAs 21-22

This workshop is designed for districts and/or campuses to examine their current processes and procedures for implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). MTSS involves universal intervention for all, targeted intervention for some, and intensive intervention for a small number of students. T.I.E.R. (Tiered Interventions using Evidenced Based Research) is the TEA's initiative of a tiered approach for academic (RtI), behavioral, and mental health (PBIS) evidenced-based interventions and supports for all students identified as at-risk of poor learning outcomes. We will identify the nonnegotiables of an effective system that when implemented with fidelity (as it is intended) will reduce learning gaps and increase student achievement. This workshop is primarily for Slocum ISD.
