EB Family Empowerment Toolkit - Module 2: Establishing an Emergent Bilingual Family Advisory

Emergent Bilingual students and their parents and caregivers are invited to the decision-making table. The advisory provides insight and understanding about Emergent Bilingual families, are ambassadors to the greater school/district community, and perform important duties, such as policy input, advocacy, and Bilingual/ESL program and curriculum review.

This webinar is the seventh in a series of eight live training modules, that are a part of the Emergent Bilingual Family Empowerment Toolkit Pilot. The workshop is only available to the two Region 7 pilot districts: Lindale ISD and Nacogdoches ISD. The Toolkit will be rolled out to all districts beginning in the Fall of 2023.
