Number Lines, Strip Diagrams, and Math; Oh My! Come join us while we explore the use of these models to improve student conceptual understanding. Research has shown that the optimum process to promote student understanding is through concrete experiences, representations that show understanding, and LASTLY abstract algorithms. In this session we will explore this progression of student UNDERSTANDING through the representations of number lines and strip diagrams. Let's work together to expand your toolbox of representations!
