G/T 6-Hour Update: Using Brain Breaks in the G/T Classroom

Throughout the instructional day, a variety of demands challenge students' abilities to focus, engage, complete tasks, and control behavior. Brain breaks are short, simple activities that can be incorporated into the instructional day and differentiated based upon student need. This is no "sit and get!" Be prepared to get up and move as we explore how brain breaks can boost cognitive performance, unleash creative thinking, and support student self-regulation. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
