Reading Intervention: Automatic Retrieval to Fill in Gaps-Elementary 22-23
Supports in an MTSS framework flow from universal, to targeted, to intensive. The tiers are distinct but, as part of a system, share common components. Under the umbrella of MTSS, students at risk are provided with intervention time above the regular core classroom instruction. Students who demonstrate a continued inadequate response to universal instruction and intervention are moved into different levels of support based on data gathered through progress monitoring. This workshop will address the evidenced-based practices in reading at each level of a three-tiered framework. Practical strategies and resources will be provided for each level to create better intervention lessons. Texas implementation guidelines and evidence-based research that support student growth will be reviewed.
Participants will be able to attend this workshop virtually via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
