Targeted and Intensive Intervention Time: Reading and Math 22-23
Supports in an MTSS framework flow from universal to targeted to intensive. The tiers are distinct but share common components as part of a system. Under the umbrella of MTSS, students at risk are provided with intervention time above the regular core classroom instruction. Students who demonstrate a continued inadequate response to universal instruction and intervention are moved into different levels of support based on data gathered through progress monitoring. This workshop will address reading and math instruction at the targeted and intensive levels. We will review Texas implementation guidelines and evidence-based research that support student growth.
This workshop is primarily for Central Heights ISD.
