Using Sports in Math to Build Mastery

Have you asked yourself, how can I get the most out of my students? How can I use student interests to communicate the math and build mastery? Let's work together to build a concrete, pictorial (representational), and abstract (CPA) learning sequence for our student expectations utilizing football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, and softball. Creating activities that utilize sports allows students to apply and make connections. Participants will have time to utilize what they learned and create powerful activities to use immediately in the classroom.
